From dull and grey to vibrant and fun...

You may not remember my old logo. It was dull. It was what I wanted at the time, something classy and smart and grey. A little different but using my favourite font to tie in with my website. Turns out, it wasn't me at all. I mean, I hope I'm a little classy but most of the time I just want to be vibrant and have fun. I'd like to think my work is the same, a little classy but vibrant and fun and most of all real. My new logo is the real me, bright, colourful and fun and I painted it myself!

I have always adored colours but specifically the rainbow spectrum since my twins were born (not strictly "rainbow babies" but we did weather a storm trying to have them via IVF) as I just loved having all the bright colours for their room which works for any sex. Anyway, since I first decorated their room, rainbows have wheedled their way into my own wardrobe and office space, they just make me happy. My photos tend to be vibrant and so I felt my logo should be too, to represent both me and my work. Essentially my brand. And so here it is, painted by my own fair hand in my first attempt with watercolour paints, scanned and made into my logo and profile picture.

I love it and I hope you do too! I had so much fun creating it too, using a palate of paints I bought for £5.99.

In case you wanted to compare, here are the old versions:
