Davina's Big Sussex Bike Ride was hosted by Uckfield Rugby Football Club this year. I've taken photos for the club before (my son's a member) so when they put a call out for volunteers for the event, I offered to capture the day. The ride raises funds for Action Medical Research for children who are "on a mission to save and change children’s lives through medical research, developing treatments, vaccinations and cures."
It was an early start but, despite the forecast for rain, it stayed dry and the sun even came out by the time Davina headed off on her bike. As it happens, the usual photographer for the charity wasn't able to attend so I captured plenty of the morning to share with them as well. It was such a fun morning with a lot of excitement, energy and selfies galore!
