I'm SO glad we managed to fit in our annual ADVENT-ure at Skate Tunbridge Wells before Tier 4 kicked in in Kent! This has become one of our favourite traditions in our advent activities and although I tried to book for Christmas Eve, I'm so glad now that we had to book earlier and go on the 12th instead as it's now had to close.
We had an AMAZING time, the best yet - they're honestly at such a great age - I am loving this stage of kids :)
Also, I'M IN THE PHOTOS! I'm always preaching to my clients about the importance of showing up in your family photos (even if you feel unphotogenic and too "big" which I most definitely am after a year of virtually no exercise and ALLLL the comfort food)! Nik finds the skates painful so he opted to stay on the side this year and I handed over control of my camera and I love the photos! Some careful positioning kept my uncomfortable areas hidden and I know the twins LOVE that I'm in some photos with them having fun! Something they actually asked for when I showed them my most recent family client slideshow with a leaf fight!
Anyway, here are a few more hubby took and then a couple of the aftermath when I was reunited with my 4th love and we warmed up with hot chocolates by the rink...
We also headed up to the park area to get some treats from The Inside, a gorgeous café which had been transformed into a stunning gingerbread house!!
