My "Paint Bar" image placed in the Rooms & Spaces category of the 2019 Voice Collection and I am beyond thrilled and SO honoured to be among such amazing talent in this beautiful collection of images!
I don't even know how to explain my excitement about this news. If you're one of my photography friends you'll understand the awesomeness of having an image in the Voice Collection! I've been trying for 3 years, having admired all the images in previous collections and following in the footsteps of mentors including Clare Barker Wells (who first told me to go for it back in 2016).
This photo means a lot to me for many reasons, it was part of my charity project raising funds for Young Minds, it got me my first PhotoVogue acceptance on Vogue Italia's website AND it is a wonderful memory of a fun day playing with paint in this gorgeous old apothecary turned paint shop in Lewes, taking so many photos and having a laugh with Laura Aziz.
The finalist images, 210 awesome photos over 14 categories, chosen from 40,000 entries will be featured in Click Magazine, on the website: https://www.myclickmagazine.com/voice/ AND in an exhibition in Atlanta in march! It's such an inspiring collection, take a look and see all the wonderful art by so many talented photographers!
The Voice Collection is all about celebrating female photographers:
"VOICE is a celebrated annual photography competition & collection hosted by Click Magazine.
Through each photographer's singular lens, the Voice Competition & Collection provides a unique platform for real women to share real stories.

My image is in the "Rooms & Spaces" category. Thank you so much to the judges and congratulations to all the other artists who placed, I'm so lucky to call many of them friends.
