Do you take headshots?
Yes, absolutely! They are an important part of your brand identity.
BUT, that's not all I do and I always take the time to explain why I think a full personal branding shoot is much more beneficial to you and your business.
What exactly is a personal branding photographer?
As a brand photographer I specialise in getting your business noticed! It's about capturing so much more than a headshot, but we always get plenty of those too! Your profile pic will be sorted, don't worry!
A full personal branding shoot involves so many more aspects of you and your business. Behind the scenes, details, whatever product or service you're selling, even your hobbies. We'll cover it all and your gallery will reflect your entire brand to help you attract your ideal clients and grow your business.

You're all about the colour, will I get any black & white photos?
Yes! I always choose a few which I think look fabulous in black & white and these will be included in your gallery.
I do love colour but sometimes the drama of a good monochrome conversion can work wonders and change the whole image. You can see a B&W gallery here.
How much time will this take?
Like many things, the more you put into this process, the more you will get out of it. I do the majority of the work, of course, but I do need certain bits & pieces of information from you in advance of your shoot so there is a little bit of "homework" for you to do. Most of my clients have found this to be really beneficial in getting them to think about their brand properly, some for the first time.
It's all designed to save you time and stress in the long run and well worth the investment of both time and money so you can see a return on that investment.

How much do you charge?
I'm not the cheapest photographer and I'm proud of that fact. I've worked hard to improve not only my photography skills but how to really help my clients make the most out of their photoshoot with me. We do a lot of prep work and design your shoot together so on the day we just get to have fun and you know exactly what you're getting!
I work in a very bespoke way and provide a high level of service to each client I work with. I only take on a limited number of shoots per month so it's best to book in early if you want to get started asap.

What should I wear?
Ah, the age old question! Do not worry about this, when you hire me, I'm with you every step of the way. We'll discuss wardrobe ideas during your planning session and then you can send me photos of any outfits you'd like my opinion on.
I'll help you with ideas of where to shop if you need something new and I've even been known to lend my own clothes which perfectly matched a client's brand colours before!
Do you have a studio?
No.
I like to capture my clients in their element, doing what they do best, where they usually do it. It's all part of the storytelling.
You can do so much more with a full branding shoot rather than just pretty headshots taken in a studio but if that's really all you want, perhaps I'm not the photographer for you.

Where should we do the photoshoot?
We will usually choose 2-3 locations for a 3 hour shoot. Often including your office or workspace or a café if you don't have one.
The rest really depends on your brand. If you're an online entrepreneur with high-flying clients, you might want to hire an Airbnb or hotel room for the luxury look and feel but if you're an artisan baker, we definitely want to capture you in the kitchen covered in flour doing your thing! Or if you're all about nature, let's get outside in the woods. We'll figure all this out together so don't stress about it.
If your home is part of your why or where you work, there are so many opportunities for great photos right where you live. Please don't stress about having the perfect home! It really doesn't matter if you have a huge house or a small cosy flat, the purpose of our session is to capture you and YOUR story.
Will you travel to me?
Yes, in fact, I recommend it. so that we capture you in your own surroundings to get the true authentic you. It's not essential though and some clients to travel to me. I have some great local recommendations of where to stay and locations for shoots depending on what will work best for your brand.
You do need to book in early enough for this to be arranged, especially if flights and overnight stays are involved.
I do, of course, charge extra for travel out with my local area and any expenses incurred will also be added to your invoice.
What is "storytelling" photography?
It's pretty much what you'd expect. Photos designed to tell your story. Sometimes this can happen in a single image, sometimes it's the series that tells the story but either way, it's the best way to let your brand speak for you.
"People buy from people" and your clients want to see you, know you, like you and trust you if they're going to spend their money with you.
Stand out from your competition by sharing your story as part of your brand identity. This is why I love to create showreels for my clients, to really convey their message with their new brand photos.
Do you do product photography?
Yep, I love taking photos of your beautiful items. Again, I like to do it in a "lifestyle" way, with your location in the background or using my colourful backdrops, conveying their real-life use as well as gorgeous detail shots.
If you're looking for a basic, shoot the product on a white background kinda thing, I'm not your gal.

How many photos will I get?
Plenty!
My most popular session is 3 hours which gives us plenty of time to capture everything you need. You'll have a beautiful gallery with around 150 on-brand images and graphics. It also includes lots of extras, including a bespoke social media plan, so your visual branding will be sorted!
