Details by the Dozen
I love detail photos and in early 2018 I started up an Instagram hub, This Detailed Life, to feature detail shots by amazing photographers. I'm so excited about how it's grown and the people I've "met" through Instagram.
In 2018 I asked a few of my favourite photographers who also love focusing in on the little moments to join me in a monthly project to celebrate details. If you haven't already guessed, there were twelve of us, hence Details by the Dozen. Every month collated everyone's favourite detail photo from the preceding month with a link to each photographer's own website. It was a great way to support each other and stay inspired and I'm thrilled that everyone I asked to join in said yes! Since then it got a bit harder to collate all the images with busy lives meaning some had to step back so this year (2020) I decided to change it up and I now choose 12 images each month from the new This Detailed Life Facebook group. Each month I select a Top Shot to be the cover photo for that month.
The original dozen are detailed below - I wanted people who genuinely have a love for details, who regularly post detailed shots and have tagged #thisdetailedlife to join in with the hub. Most of them are people whose work I have admired for a long time and some I've recently discovered and fallen in love with their photos.

It's a genuinely global group! We've got people from/living all over; Sussex, Essex, Somerset and Manchester in England; Fife in Scotland; New York, California, Colorado, Texas and Michigan in the USA; Canada, Dubai in UAE and Warsaw in Poland.
