Hi, we’re Bex (Bexphoto) and Jo (The Grammar Mamma) – a brand photographer and a copywriter who between us have been helping small businesses show up properly for years. And we’ve been quietly plotting this collaboration for most of that time.
Because the two things that make the biggest difference to a new business – how you look and how you sound – are exactly what we do best. Together, you get both.
For business owners who know they’re brilliant at what they do – but don’t yet know how to explain it or show it.

Meet Your Team
Since we first met in 2022, we’ve become firm friends, bonding over a shared love of Scamp & Dude dresses (see above!), delicious food (sushi is a must!), and community over competition, regularly catching up at local networking events.
Having worked together for a while, we kept noticing the same gap: business owners who are brilliant at what they do, but stall on the two things that make a great first impression – how they look, and how they sound. So we built a package that solves both at once.
Bex: Brand Photography Specialist & Mentor
Bex photographs small businesses and entrepreneurs across Sussex, London and beyond – creating vibrant, story-led images that capture the real person behind the brand.
Known for her rich, colourful editing style and meticulous pre-shoot planning, Bex goes far beyond a headshot – delivering a complete brand photography experience that leaves clients with the images, the content plan and the confidence to show up online properly.
She will also almost certainly become your friend by the end of the shoot.

Jo: Copywriter & Content Strategist
Jo has spent her entire career crafting awesome content for equally awesome brands, helping them show up and be seen with authentic copy that’s packed with personality and attracts the right audience.
She knows how hard it is to promote yourself and write about how good you are – she even struggles to do it herself! But when it comes to writing about other people and telling their story, that’s her superpower.
Jo loves working with business owners to create content that showcases just how fabulous they are to attract more dream clients, without marketing turning into their full-time job.
