Well, the results are in! I entered back in January, spent most of February addicted to voting on all 500,000+ images and wondered which of mine were still in, which might make it farthest and whether I'd have any finalists this year after last year's two.
I did it! I achieved three finalist images amongst the 50 I submitted for voting. As a contest with over HALF A MILLION images and so many voters around the world, from respected photographers to the general public and even kids voting, it's a massive achievement to have made it to the final 500 in any category. Two of mine from the "Share Joy" category and one in "That Just Happened" made it to the final round and I'm so proud!
Overall I received a whopping 23 awards! I'm yet to get into my goal of Top 100 but maybe next year ;) This will urge me on to keep getting better and maybe I'll get there, I've already achieved so much this year!
