I will be honest. I’ve been trying for months to have one of my images accepted by Vogue. There’s a section on the Vogue Italia website dedicated to photos of many genres, where you can upload just two images for three days of the week between certain hours. If you miss those specific times, you have to wait until next week. I often forgot or was too late so my submissions were sporadic and always, always rejected – they just disappear if not deemed worthy of Vogue.
BUT. It finally happened! One of my submissions was moved into to my portfolio, with the little Vogue Italia badge added! Soooo exciting!!!
I think the fact it took so long and they’re clearly very selective makes it even more of an achievement. I’m so thrilled.
