Most people walk past an MOT centre without giving it a second glance.
I saw a red wall.
Rebecca and I were on our way back down from the park when I spotted it – that vivid block of red, striped and bold, sitting there completely unnoticed. I knew immediately what I wanted to do with it.
We made our way over, I chose my lens, imagined those red stripes behind her curls contrasting with her dark denim dress – and we got to work.

Five minutes later, we had one of my favourite headshots I’ve ever taken.

This is the difference between what a passer-by sees and what a photographer sees.

Would you have considered the potential of this wall on your way past? Most people wouldn’t – and that’s exactly why having a photographer who sees differently makes all the difference.
